The Jersey Boat Show 08 is an event for the whole family, not just boat owners. Come down and soak up the festival atmosphere or take part in the wide range of activities on offer.
One of the undoubted stars of Jersey Boat Show 08 - and certainly the biggest - is the Royal Navy's HMS KENT, a Type 23 Frigate currently undergoing a period of intensive training before heading to the Far East.
HMS Kent Guided tour: The Portsmouth-based warship is anchoring off St Helier and - weather permitting - you can take a trip out to have a guided tour of the ship on Saturday and Sunday using a 'liberty boat' that departs from No 5 berth (the pontoon beneath the St Helier Lifeboat Station).
RIB Trip: Ocean Discoveries are also taking people out from No 5 berth in their
8.5-metre RIB to view HMS KENT (but not to go on board) - the cost for
the 40 minute trip is £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s, with a
contribution going to the St Helier Lifeboat Appeal.
