Local musical talent will once again be showcased at the 2018 Barclays Jersey Boat Show.
The Solent Stevedores Main Stage entertainment programme will showcase a mix of local talent, including performances from crowd favourites Take This (Saturday 05 May), Inside Job, (Sunday 06 May) and Little Big Band (Monday 07 May). They will be joined by the ladies fun choir Hot Bananas (Sunday 06 May), Midriff (Monday 07 May) and Backbeat (Sunday 06 May).
With over 20 years’ experience Take This is the ultimate festival band and will be performing as the ‘Headline’ act on the Saturday afternoon, having regularly performed at the Boat Show.
Inside Job will once again be taking to the stage on the popular Sunday afternoon slot to entertain the crowds. A firm boat show favourite the band has performed at various events across the Island for over 10 years.
The 11-piece Little Big Band will close the 2018 Barclays Jersey Boat Show on the Monday afternoon, playing a range of Soul, Blues and Pop music with a ‘big-band’ feel.

In 2018 the Solent Stevedores Main Stage will relocate to an area in Weighbridge Place to accommodate a larger audience. This will allow the popular Kids Play Zone to move back to the area around the Steam Clock.
Other acts included in the musical programme include local bands Serkeidian and Midriff. Youngsters from the Jersey Music Service will also perform on Saturday as will local musician Alfie Butel who has previously performed at the Jersey Boat Show.
The 3-day Barclays Jersey Boat Show, which remains the largest free-entry event in the Channel Islands takes place in and around St Helier Marina and Weighbridge Place between Saturday 05 and Monday 07 May 2018. The event is open daily from 10am and entry is free.
