Visitors to the Barclays Jersey Boat Show this year will be spoilt for choice with things to see and do in the Geomarine ‘Outdoor & Active’ Zone.

The Zone, located on Albert Pier, is always one of the most popular areas, regularly attracting a large number of visitors. Along with a range of leisure and lifestyle exhibitors, there promises to be a packed programme of activities and demonstrations on the water. These include:
· Sky Dive Jersey will be making a splash as they skydive into St Helier Harbour every afternoon.
· Sprint and obstacle races with the team from GB SUP (stand up paddle boards)
· Jersey Rowing Club races
· Takuma e-foil demonstrations
As well as sponsoring the Outdoor & Active Zone, the team from Geomarine, who have recently been working on the refurbishment of both the Albert Pier pontoons and St Helier Marina, will also be busy over the three days. Geomarine’s Managing Director, Phil Horsley, explains. “Our team will be on site, both on dry land and in the water – literally, as we’ll have divers in and out of the marina from our barge berthed up below the Zone. We’ll also be displaying our rope-access skills intermittently over the course of the show. Come and find us to poke around some kit, see some engineering principles demonstrated in a sand-pit, have a play on an excavator simulator and discuss anything and everything to do with civil and geotechnical engineering, as well as marinas and diving - or just to say hello.”
The three-day Barclays Jersey Boat Show, which remains the largest free-entry event in the Channel Islands takes place in and around St Helier Marina and Weighbridge Place between Friday 10 and Sunday 12 June 2022.
Please note that the on-water programme is subject to change. Some activities taking place in and around St Helier Harbour will be subject to weather and sea conditions at the time.
