Accessibility information

We are committed to making the boat show welcoming and accessible for everyone. Here is some helpful information to support your visit.

If you have any specific access requirements or questions ahead of your visit, please email info@jerseyboatshow.com

Accessible parking

  • Three temporary Blue Badge parking bays are available close to the New North Quay show entrance.
  • Each bay can be used for up to 3 hours.
  • Bays are clearly signposted and located on a level surface to support safe entry and exit.

We recommend arriving early, especially at busier times, as availability may be limited. Peak times are between 1pm to 5pm.

Landside areas: wheelchair and pram access

All landside areas of the boat show are fully accessible for wheelchair users and people with prams.

At busier times, particularly between 12pm and 3pm, visitor numbers are at their highest. During this time moving around the site may take a little longer, especially for wheelchair users and families with prams.

If you prefer a quieter experience with more space to move comfortably, we recommend visiting in the morning or later in the afternoon.

Pontoons: wheelchair and pram access

Pontoons are floating walkways on the water in the Marina. They provide access for on-water displays and boats.

  • The pontoons are accessible for wheelchair users and prams using ramps from the Marina wall to sea level.
  • The gradient of the ramps changes throughout the day depending on tide levels. When the tide is lower the ramps become steeper
Time Ramp access
10am to 12pm Ramps will be more gradual as the tide is higher.
12pm to 5pm Ramps will be steeper.

You are welcome to access the pontoons at any time during the event. These recommendations are to help you plan your visit in a way that best suits your needs and comfort.

Quieter Hour: 10am to 11am each day

During this time you can expect:

  • Reduced noise levels across the site
  • Reduced PA volume, with essential announcements only
  • A calmer, more predictable environment

This quieter period is particularly suitable for visitors who prefer a lower‑stimulus setting, families with young children, and anyone who may need a gentler start to their visit.

The main stage entertainment starts at 10.30am each day so you should expect elevated noise levels at Weighbridge Place.
