Jersey RAYNET provides additional or backup communications for the Blue Light Services and their agencies in the event of an Island major incident or disaster. We also provide radio communications for other charities and events such as the Gorey Fete, The Air Display and St Martins Bonfire for Security and marshals.

Our systems can cater for radio communications for Marine, Ground to Air, Digital Mobile Radio and worldwide HF communications as well as monitoring ships and aircraft positions. We are also able to monitor the state of magnetic interference from the sun and tell which radio bands are good at any time of the day or night.

This year, we have a new pool with viewing window, where you can try your hands at the SeaPerch ROV’s (remotely operated vehicles). Children of our colleagues will be displaying their SeaPerch builds at varying times over the weekend.
